  These 8" x 19" Silicon Carbide Floor Sander Drum Belts are produced with premium silicon carbide abrasive grains to provide fast cutting, consistent performance throughout its lifetime. The floor sanding belts feature full resin bond to prolong lifetime and feature extra heavy X-weight cloth backing to provide extra durability and a high degree of tear resistance. "S" joints are utilized in the construction of this belt in order to prevent unwanted scratches and to provide bi-directional capabilities to the floor sander belt. These belts are commonly used in the flooring industries for sanding and refinishing all wood floors as well as on concrete floors using the coarse grits for mastic and adhesive removal. Any paint, polyurethane, shellac or varnishes found on hardwood floors do not stand a chance against these drum sander belts. Due to the silicon carbide floor sanding belt's consistent performance and economical pricing, these are extremely popular in the rental market. These silicon carbide drum sander belts are often used with the Clarke EZ-8 belt machine.
